Gary Shap, a lifelong resident of the Chicago area, began his photography career in 1985 as a wildlife photographer.  Gary is a self-taught photographer who specializes in photographing wildlife, landscapes, cityscapes, commercial projects, and people (portraits & models).  He is proficient in a variety of different

formats including digital, medium and large format film, and alternative processes such as pinhole & infrared.  Gary’s creativity shows in his work and he invites you to challenge him with your next project.  You can see
